Griggs County Cemetery was created with five
acres of land deeded by Peter E. Nelson to Griggs
County Cemetery Association in 1890. Five more
acres were deeded by the Hammer Brothers
Corporation in 1926. The name was officially changed
to Cooperstown Cemetery Association in 1954.

Directions: go ½ mile north of Cooperstown on
Hwy 45; turn east and go ½ mile on gravel road;
turn north and go ¼ mile on gravel road.
There is a loop of three roadways through the cemetery;
we ask that you drive only on the roadways; please do
NOT drive on the grass. This can cause damage to the
grounds and markers and monuments.
